A Sunshine Horseback Ride promises a delightful blend of adventure and scenic splendor! Traverse the western slopes of the Wai’anae Mountains and indulge in breathtaking coastal views along Oahu’s Southern and Western Coastline. The daytime offers spectacular views and optimal wildlife observation. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a first-timer, our rides are designed for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye out for the occasional appearance of grazing cattle along the trail, adding a touch of rustic charm to your journey.

If you want to experience the sunset during your private ride, please book the “Sunset Private Ride” that departs at 6 pm.

Sunset Private Ride

Our Sunset coastal view trail ride on the Southern slopes of the Wai’anae Mountains in Oahu creates the perfect environment for exclusivity or romance of your own private group. Minimum group size is 2*.

Expect spectacular lighting on this tour during the ‘golden hours’ before sundown! Experience breathtaking views, intimate settings, and more personal attention on a private trail ride.

This ride books out early. If the date you selected is not available, please check the Sunshine Private Ride and the Sunset Group Ride.

Check-In Information

Please arrive promptly 30 minutes before your activity’s start time to check in.

Please Note:

Please don’t bring any backpacks or purses, we have saddlebags for small, personal items such as cell phones and cameras!

A parent or guardian will be required to sign a safety waiver for anyone under 18! Please email us at palehuatrailrides@gmail.com and request a waiver ahead of time if you are coming without a parent.

Due to high demand during peak travel season, the minimum number of participants allowed for a private ride increases from 2 to 4 seats.
